摘要
In this contribution, the electrochemical synthesis of highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays in various electrolytes are reviewed, with special focus on different modification strategies including non-metal doping, metal doping, semiconductor coupling and conducting polymer sensitizing. In addition, the environmental remediation applications of modified TiO2-NTs in organic pollutant degradation and disinfection of bacteria with enhanced removal efficiency are discussed in detail. It is expected that the modified TiO2-NTs with proper visible light absorption and stability are quite promising in photocatalysis to realize environmental cleanup and solar energy conversion.
