摘要
This article is a theoretical discussion of the implications for the theory and practice of music education. The author analyzes pragmatic and utopian approaches to instructional strategies in Polish music education and points to the need for a new theory of music education that is based on three fundamental pillars: 1. psychological (including social and developmental psychology of music); 2. philosophical (including a pragmatic approach to the philosophy of music education which is profoundly affected by globalization, glocalization and the mass media; 3. didactic (theoretical and practical knowledge of music education concepts).
