摘要：

Objectives: To present a case of retrocaval ureter and its MR appearances. Method: We present data regarding a case of retrocaval ureter detected by means of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Results: By using a Magnetic Resonance Imaging we detected a circumcaval ureter; interestingly, findings were correlated with the i.v. urography results. Conclusions: Computed tomography has been the procedure of choice to confirm the diagnosis of retrocaval ureter. However, we believe Magnetic Resonance Imaging is likely to replace computed tomography in the diagnosis of retrocaval ureter. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
