摘要
Purpose - Current article describes the development of evaluation system of EEUAS and the first results of evaluation processes. Design/methodology/approach- The paper describes an evaluation system implemented to improve teaching by academic personnel in Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EEUAS) through an evaluation model. Built on best practices, the models process that provides a framework for lecturer's professional development Findings - Most of the members of academic personnel of EEUAS are convinced that the evaluation process is necessary and important in the university's development. There are also some suggestions how to enhance the process and issues which are carried out are quite "classical" - lack of information and feedback, problems with the attitude of the employees and problems with the amount of documentation. Practical implications - The aim is to spread the experience with other interested institutions of higher education and other parties. Originality/value - This paper focuses on the description of one possibility to carry out systematic and development - supportive evaluation of academic personnel. According to our research, there are not any evaluation systems in universities of applied sciences which have connected to the whole process of development of academic personnel, to the salary and motivation system and to the feedback of the students, colleagues and managers.
