摘要
Bartonello quintana is a gram-negative microorganism, which may lead to infective endocarditis especially in compromised patients. The major concern about this pathogen is the diagnosis and detection. Furthermore, the treatment of the infection has been a challenge for physicians. In this report, we present a 71-year-old patient with Bartonella quintana aortic valve endocarditis from the view of diagnosis and treatment aspects.
