摘要
An l(0)-norm constrained normalized LMS algorithm (l(0)-CNLMS) is utilized to realize sparse controllable adaptive array beamforming. The l(0)-CNLMS algorithm exerts an l(0)-norm penalty on the filter coefficients of the constrained normalized LMS algorithm, aiming to put the solution towards sparsity. By introducing the l(0)-norm constraint, the effective elements used in the array can be effectively controlled to a certain number. Approximating l(0)-norm implementation method is considered to reduce the computation burden. Simulations are carried out to prove that the l(0)-CNLMS algorithm is valid for sparse adaptive array beamforming as well as controlling the amounts of effective antennas.
