Phase Transitions in Ferroelastic RbIn(MoO4)2 at 163 and 143 K

摘要
The paper presents results of studies on phase transitions in RbIn(MoO4)(2) at 163 and 143K obtained using the electron paramagnetic resonance and polarised light microscopy. It has been found that the ferroelastic phase transition observed around 143K is split into two closely situated transitions separated by a temperature interval of around 0.2K. It has been found that these phases coexist in a temperature range of few dozen degrees.
