摘要
Immunoreactivity of polyclonal anti p53 and monoclonal anti cyclin A antibodies in 54 cases of gastric carcinomas were examined. Positive staining of nuclei on cancer cell for p53 was observed in 48.1% cases (26/54). They were divided two groups, p53 positive and p53 negative. There were no relationship in p53 positivity and histopathological classification and clinical status of gastric carcinoma The positive staining ratio for cyclin A on each gastric cancers were ranged from 0% to 59.1%. The p53 positive stained group showed high positive staining ratio (24.7%) for cyclin A rather than the ratio (12.7%) of p53 negative stained group. These results suggested that the p53 positivity related to growing fraction ratio of gastric cancer cells by the cells which were passed the restriction point, but not related with malignant potential of gastric cancer.
