摘要
The phenomenon of diastereotopic group recognition has been structurally documented for the first time. A diphenylphosphine-modified beta -cyclodextrin having two diastereotopic phenyl groups in close vicinity to the inner cavity of this host was prepared. The crystal structure analysis reveals selective intramolecular complexation of one of the two diastereotopic phenyl groups.
