摘要
Magnetic chitosan/yeast(MCY) composites were prepared and applied to adsorb Ce(III) ions from aqueous solutions. The effects of pH, contact time and initial concentration were examined, and the hematite leakage was also studied. The optimum pH was 5.5. MCY composites had magnetic stability (especially over pH range of 4.5 similar to 7.0). The kinetic data were investigated by pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order models. The kinetic data were better fitted to the pseudo-second-order model. Experimental data were fitted with the Langmuir and Freundlich models to analyze the equilibrium isotherms. The Freundlich model was better to describe the experimental data. The maximum adsorption capacity calculated by Langmuir isotherm was 73.53 mg/g.
