摘要
A phytochemical investigation on Peristrophe roxburghiana (Schult.) Brem. resulted in the isolation of 11 compounds, identified as beta-sitosterol (1), beta-daucosterol (2), coumarin (3), 1-octadecanol (4), allantoin (5), lupeol ( 6), oleanolic acid (7), 3-acetyl oleanolic acid (8), cyanidin (9), cyanidin-3-O-beta-D-glucoside (10), peristrophine (11) by analysis of spectroscopic data and comparison with literature. Anti-inflammatory activity of these compounds was carried out in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-simulated RAW 264.7 cells and carrageenan-induced inflammation on BALB/c mice. Rats and cell treated with PR and eight compounds showed significant (p<0.05) anti-inflammatory effects as evidence from normal cytokines TNF-alpha, IL-1 beta, and IL-6 levels. Significantly anti-inflammatory activity of compounds 3, 8 and 11 is reported for the first time.
