摘要
In this study, total of 217 sets of Vs data, 186 from the previous studies and reports and 31 from Taiwan after 1999, have been collected and synthesized from all over the world. A three-layer back-propagation neural-network technique is used to establish a training model based on Vs data. Thus, an approach based on ANN is used to obtain the critical limit state curves for liquefaction evaluation. These limit state curves represent the boundaries that separate the liquefaction and non-liquefaction data for different FC. Based on this study, the upper limits of shear wave velocity for FC <= 5%, FC=20%, FC=35%, and FC >= 50% could suggest as 250, 250, 200, and 190 m/sec, respectively.
