摘要
This paper presents the authors' researches oil tool wear monitoring with turning applications, a recent domain with major economic impact The chosen monitoring method uses detected vibrations as information carriers on the tool wear and extracts the useful information by processing the signal. Signal processing is made in the amplitude, time and frequency domains using virtual instruments designed 41, the authors in the Lab KIF W environment. Following the tool wear signal processing with the presented virtual instruments, the authors have obtained concluding results oil the monitoring process. We believe that these researches can be continued by adapting the presented virtual instruments or creating new ones to monitor tool wear for other machining operations.
