摘要
This article aims to discuss the character of food security in the contemporary scope of the crisis Sarscov-2 - Covid 19, emphasizing the possible causes of food insecurity in the multi-scale, global - regional aspect, considering the current scenario that involves Brazil. For this, at first, a panorama was drawn up about current crises and their implications for food security. In addition to looking at the new scenarios in the covid - 19 crisis, thus highlighting a debate about concerns, possible measures to be taken in different areas, especially with regard to the conditions that make food security feasible. Methodologically, this writing was based on international reports (UN, WHO, ECLAC, ILO) and other secondary sources (bibliographies on topics, news, etc.). In Brazil, the guarantee of food security comes mainly, but not only from access to income, in the multiple spheres that encompass work.
