摘要
In this paper, a fuzzy PID type controller is proposed for solving the Load Frequency Control (LFC) problem in the restructured power system that operate under deregulation based on the bilateral policy scheme. In each control area, the effects of the possible contracts are treated as a set of new input signal in a modified traditional dynamical model. The fuzzy PID type controller is constructed as a set of control rules, and the control signal is directly deuced from the knowledge base and the fuzzy inference. The salient advantage of this strategy is its high insensitivity to large load changes and plant parameter variations even in the presence of Generation Rate Constraints (GRC). This newly developed strategy leads to a flexible controller with simple structure that is easy to implement The proposed method is tested on a two-area power system to illustrate its robust performance under different operating condition. The results of the proposed fuzzy PID type controller are compared with the conventional PI controller through some performance indices.
