摘要
In this paper, a multi band metamaterial-inspired low profile antenna is proposed and simulated. This antenna is fed by a single probe. It is loaded with composite right/left-handed (CRLH) mushroom-like structures and a reactive impedance surface (RIS) to miniaturize the antenna. The proposed antenna is simulated and the results are compared with conventional patch antennas. The size reduction of about 31% is obtained using the proposed structure.
