摘要
Chronic pain forms part of a rich life story. The antalgic response must appreciate anthropological components of the patient through a new way of encountering. Research into pain would benefit from embracing philosophy in order to resolve remaining issues of the dominant theories. Thirty-three years of practice in a centre for patients with stubborn pain has led us to an ethnosociological treatment model, psycho-algo-analysis of the patient and of the carer, and practical advice on therapeutic communication.
