摘要
This paper examines if and how big data initiatives can help firms realize innovative outcomes, and the type of capabilities that firms need to maximize their return from such initiatives. We employ social capital as a theoretical lens to examine this problem by augmenting this theory with recent development in the absorptive capacity literature. We posit a research model and a set of hypotheses for future empirical testing.
