摘要
Based on the static and dynamic analyzing of the population distribution status in the northwest Shanxi, this paper takes 11 areas in the northwest for the sample to discuss the crucial factors of population distribution and analyzes the coordination of population distribution with regional natural environment and economy development by the statistic methods of principal component analysis and regression analysis. The results show that: the crucial factors which affect the population distribution are arable area and the proportion of non-agricultural's output value, the relationship between population distribution and regional economy development are basically coordinated, but the relationship between population distribution and regional natural environment are barely coordinated, which has been the constrained factor of the regional sustainability.
