摘要
An attempt was made to quantitatively evaluate the organoleptic properties of ophthalmological material with a different content of modifying polymer with the methods of materials science. The optimum concentrations of modifying components, including biologically active components, was selected based on the established limits of the physicomechanical indexes of the material that satisfy the requirements of ophthalmologists. The important advantages of the textile ophthalmological materials created in comparison to the implants traditionally used in ophthalmology were revealed; they consist of elimination of postoperative antibiotic therapy, formation of a strong, unified connective-tissue complex with eve tissues, and a reduced risk of infection of the surgical zone.
