With the emergence of energy harvesting technologies, the energy harvesting wireless sensor network (EH-WSN) provides near-perpetual energy supply for sensor nodes. The routing techniques based on energy-efficient are not suitable for EH-WSN. In this paper, we focus on the routing problem for EH-WSN. We first describe the factors of affecting routing performance in EH-WSN and present three related link parameters with routing. Then, a heuristic routing algorithm is proposed. By the energy model and definition of link cost based on three link parameters, the proposed routing algorithm not only considers the residual energy of sensor nodes, but also integrates the link interference into link cost. Extensive simulations show that the proposed algorithm obtains more throughput and lower end-to-end delay. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm improves network lifetime than existing routing algorithms in EH-WSN.
