摘要
Introducing a volume transfer scheme to handle twinning, the elasto-viscoplastic Taylor-Lin model was employed for the first time to investigate the effect of tensile twinning on the low cyclic deformation behavior of a strong basal textured Mg alloy at room temperature. {1 0 (1) over bar 2} tensile twinning was predominately activated together with massive de-twinning. The numerical simulation reproduced the experimental cyclic stress-strain curve and twinning activity in good agreement with experiments obtained by orientation mapping and suggested Taylor deformation mode.
