摘要：

Application of two-dimensional digital filtering in determination of velocity of the flow fields is investigated in this paper. It is shown that 2-D digital filtering can be applied effectively on the PIV images of the flow fields (instead of applying optical filtering) to extract the whole field velocity information of the flow.
