摘要
Education is a sincere and most appropriate way to raise generations in all disciplines needed for the advancement of a nation's knowledge, economic and technological stability and sufficiency. Practically, university education aims at providing good education opportunities for students, in addition to developing their skills and knowledge, in order to enable them to engage labour markets with greater efficiency and sufficiency; especially for furniture design. However, traditional education methods concerning this field of studies in Egypt are insufficient to fully rehabilitate qualified students or develop their abilities to match with the market's requirements; which deeply affects the performance of the technical and operational abilities conducting integrated projects' design. The use of multimedia to clarify and explain the practical aspects of furniture design Projects' helps increase a student's attention and understanding; especially freshmen, of practical design problems, as well, it facilitates the teacher's role; thus, develops the educational process. Furniture design is one of the daily-life-oriented important fields that serves all social degrees and institution. This is why it is important to develop, improve, and provide all means to promote and enrich it with latest technologies and raise the efficiency of designers. The furniture' design course is one that needs years of accumulative experience, which freshmen in practical facilities lack; especially design students; since the summer courses do not cover all the needed aspects of projects design, that students may seek commercial non-academic training courses that provide deficient or misleading knowledge. Therefore, the aims of this research is making use of modern educational technologies to construct a practical education courses suggested to rely on the use of virtual-reality and simulation to fulfill the student's need for practical experience which the academic life lacks; and develop the educational process, and improve the student's practical abilities, and facilities the tasks of educators.
