摘要：

The hydatid disease is endemic in several geographic areas. Hydatid disease of the kidney is exceptional, the third leading localization after the liver and the lung, accounting for an estimated 2 to 3% of all visceral involvements. It remains asymptomatic for a long time and is mainly diagnosed on the basis of imaging findings, particularly with the ultrasound computed tomography combination. Magnetic resonance imaging can be helpful in the event of problem of differential diagnosis with serous cyst or renal cancer.
