摘要：

LS 5039 is a high mass X-ray binary whose optical counterpart is a bright (V = 11) star of O7 V((f)) spectral type, at an estimated distance of 3.1 kpc. The radio emission from LS 5039 is persistent and its radio spectrum is clearly non-thermal. Here we report VLBA and VLA observations which reveal that LS 5039 is resolved into bipolar radio jets emanating from a central core. In addition, this object appears to be associated with one of the enigmatic gamma -ray sources detected by EGRET on board the COMPTON-GRO satellite.
