摘要：

Photon avalanche red to blue upconversion has been observed at room temperature in 2% Tm3+:(Y2O3)-Y-: and 3% Tm3+:Y2O3 crystal fibers under excitation at 628.7 nm. The dynamics and power dependence of upconversion emission corresponding to the (1)G(4)-->H-3(6) transition have been investigated using the mean field approximation. [S0163-1829(99)12733-4].
