摘要
This paper deals with several numerical techniques accounting for random excitation and random parameters classically occurring in earthquake engineering. It studies in sequence the influence on the structural response of the variability of the incident field using filtering theory, the soil variability using Monte-Carlo simulation, and at last the influence on the site response of the a random building distribution using periodic simulations. In each case practical examples are given.
