摘要
In the temperature range of 293.15-353.15 K, the densities and the surface tensions for a new room temperature ionic liquid (IL) [BMIM][ClO3] (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chlorate) were measured under a nitrogen atmosphere. In terms of Glasser's theory and the interstitial model, the thermodynamic properties of the IL are discussed and the standard molar entropy as well as the lattice energy for [BMIM][ClO3] have been estimated. Furthermore, the thermal expansion coefficient, alpha = 7.10 x 10(-4) K-1, calculated by the interstitial model, is in good agreement with alpha (experimental) = 7.50 x 10(-4) K-1.
