What is CyberSpace?

In this paper, we discuss what we think are the most important aspects of CyberSpace: those that make it desirable for humans to be there. We particularly describe our sense of presence in a conceptual space, our use of tools, and our communication and interaction with others. We point out that the developers of such computing structures will have to rely on a very interesting and complex infrastructure to manage the complex alternative implementations that will arise, since there can be no central management of such a global and dynamic construct.
