Mapping the intellectual structure of relationship between usability of information system and user emotion

This paper conducts co-word analysis and social network analysis to review the research of relationship between usability of information system and user emotions. The results show that more and more studies focus on the topic which involves three perspectives, namely products design and evaluation, human-computer interaction design and evaluation, interface design and evaluation. The main issues include affective computing, user experience, aesthetics, affect, satisfaction, interface design, motivation, product evaluation, affective tutoring system and interaction design. However, these studies are within active and junior periods generally, and the concrete topics and issues are relatively decentralized.
