摘要
The high spectral efficiency of transmission systems based on OFDM technology has a number of disadvantages that limit their use in next-generation communication networks. One of them is the high value of the peak factor of the radio signal. The article describes the results of an experimental implementation of a predistortion device in a transmission system using OFDM technology, built on NI USRP-2943R equipment. The article shows that the proposed predistortion device provides an expansion of the dynamic range of this equipment by 6 dB, which in turn increases the energy efficiency of the transmission system by 4 dB.
