摘要
This paper presents a model based on the genetic algorithm for optimizing airport flight delays to reduce serious air traffic flight delays. This model contains two cases. One is to transfer all the delays to several delayed flights to avoid the delay spread, which can increase the flight punctuality rate to ensure the departure of the majority flights. The other case is to distribute the delay losses to various airlines evenly to ensure fairness and balance the delay loss of the airlines and passengers. In addition, this model can provide the controller with the optimal flow distribution in a future time to reduce the influence of the delay as much as possible. In the end, data from a western airport in China was used to verify the model.
