摘要
A planned and effective radial distribution network is the main key to cope up with an ever growing demand such as domestic, industrial and commercial load. The distribution network experience an unpredictable change in load levels every day. The distribution feeders in densely populated or industrial area become overloaded and unable to meet the best performance parameters because of the increase in load growth. The restructuring or addition of any means, in distribution system is possible only with the help of load flow analysis. Different methods are used for this analysis, to compute the distribution losses and voltage stability of the radial distribution system. This paper presents an effective method used in load flow analysis, for the computation of power losses and voltage profile in radial distribution system with PQ load modeling.
