Resonance parameters and cross section for 237Np fission induced by neutrons with energies below 1000 eV

摘要
New experiments to determine the parameters of neutron resonances (the resonance area sigma(0)Gamma(f) and the resonance width Gamma(f)) in the neutron-energy range E similar to 3-60 eV and fission cross sections sigma(f)(E) at energies E similar to 3-1000 eV have been performed at an IBR-30 pulsed booster by using the time-of-night technique. The measurements have been implemented with an ionization chamber containing a record amount (1.5 g) of high-purity Np-237. The accuracy of data published earlier has been improved.
