摘要：

Nanostructured TiB2/TiN bulks and films have been obtained by high-pressure sintering ultrafine powders and magnetron sputtering boride/nitride targets accordingly. The results of the TEM and FE SEM studies of structure and obtained values of hardness, elastic and electrical properties are discussed in detail. The main attention is focused on the size effect and the influence of various other factors on the properties of high-melting point compounds. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
