摘要
Aspen Aerogels has developed a novel solid sorbent for CO2 capture using amine functionalized aerogel (AFA) that has demonstrated a lower specific heat capacity (0.71.1 J/g center dot K) than aqueous amines (approximate to 4.2 J/g center dot K). In addition, the AFA material has very high surface area (430792 m2/g), excellent stability over many adsorption/regeneration cycles, and high steam resistance. CO2 adsorption capacity, kinetics, and cycling stability of the newly developed AFA materials are presented. (c) 2013 Society of Chemical Industry and John Wiley & Sons, Ltd
