摘要
Through analyzing earthquake input energy in frame structures, a method of estimating total earthquake input energy of multiple-degree-of-freedom fame structures with equivalent single-degree-of-freedom systems based on vibration mode decomposition was proposed. Actual data of seismic waves was used to compare the results from the simplified method and the non-linear time-history method. And the energy results obtained from the two methods agree well.
