摘要
This paper presents a new design of dual frequency SIW slot antenna for Ku band applications. The antenna has been designed and simulated using HFSS 3D simulation software. Rogers/RT Duroid 5880 (tm) with dielectric constant epsilon(r)=2.2 is used as substrate material and copper is used as metal plates of antenna. The proposed antenna can resonate at 12 GHz and 13.8 GHz with return loss of -15.4 dB and -27.86 dB respectively. Results show that the antenna can be used for Ku band highly directional applications such as satellite communication or radar.
