摘要
At the undergraduate level, many students who enter computer science change majors within their first year. There are a multitude of intrapersonal reasons to explain why students choose to leave the field of computer science. such as lack of confidence, a misconception or disinterest in computing. minimal collaboration. and lack of a proper support system (Gordon. 2016), in addition, some universities focus on theoretical computer science to the detrimental exclusion of practical aspects. SparkDev. a 9-week development program, aims to resolve these issues that students face, in this program, students are given the tools, resources and community to build projects with emerging technologies within areas such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, cyber security aid mobile development.
