Precise conductance measurements are reported for tetramethylammonium chloride (Me4NCl), tetraethylammonium bromide (Et4NBr), tetra propylammonium bromide (Pr4NBr), tetrabutylammonium bromide (Bu4NBr), tetrabutylammonium iodide (BU4NI), lithium bromide (LiBr), sodium iodide (NaI) and ammonium bromide (NH4Br) in isoamyl alcohol at 298.15 K. The conductance data have been analyzed by the Fuoss conductance-concentration equation in terms of the limiting molar conductance (Lambda(0)), the association constant (K-A) and the distance of the closest approach of ions (R). The results have been explained in terms of ion-solvent and ion-ion interactions.
