摘要
We investigated the present details of cardiac rehabilitation (CR) and life style modification after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Approximately 1, 100 persons developed AMI in Miyagi in 2002, and 358 patients were investigated. Body mass index (BMI) of the patients whose BMI at the time of admission was more than 25 significantly decreased after a discharge once, but returned to the initial value in a comparative short term again, and the exercise frequency after a discharge was low rate than that of the patients who received phase II recovery stage CR in our facilities. Therefore, to let the patients maintain appropriate body weight in the long term, and to improve a ratio to get exercise habit, it is necessary to introduce phase II recovery phase CR positively in Miyagi Prefecture.
