摘要
Mixed depression is a nosographic entity that has gained visibility, through the publication of specific criteria in the DSM-5, and because of a better consideration of bipolar disorder. It corresponds to the existence of symptoms of hypomania, particularly an increased stream of thoughts, agitation, impulsivity, distractibility and emotional lability. These symptoms are central to other disorders, in particular adult attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD) and borderline personality disorder. The observation of a mixed symptomatology justifies a detailed analysis of the symptoms and a longitudinal, life-long assessment to consider the different aspects of development, both cognitive and affective. This clinical assessment is necessary in order to take into account the sometimes complex intertwining of comorbidities, and to propose the most appropriate pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments.
