A CPW fed fractal inspired wide slot antenna is proposed for the generation of circular polarization in two frequency bands. A circular parasitic patch is asymmetrically placed on the back of a monopole antenna that excites the grounded slot to achieve dual band response. The performance of fabricated prototype of the antenna is measured and compared with the simulation results. The measurement shows input impedance bandwidths of 26% and 56% for the two bands, and the axial ratio bandwidths of 22.2% and 31.5% for the two bands, respectively.
