Existence of positive solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrodinger equations on RN

摘要
In this paper, we study the following quasilinear Schrodinger equation of the form, -Delta u + V(x)u - 1/2 Delta(u(2))u = alpha vertical bar u vertical bar(p-1)u + beta vertical bar u vertical bar(q-1)u, x is an element of R-N, where N >= 3, 2 + 2/N <= q < p < 2 . (2N/N-2) - 1, alpha, beta is an element of R-N. Under appropriate assumptions on V(x), we establish the existence of ground state solutions by a minimization argument. (c) 2013 Elsevier Inc.
