摘要:
A crystal of Nd3+: Sr3Gd(BO3)(3) with dimension of phi 25 x 30 mm(3) was grown by the Czochralski method. The polarized absorption and emission spectra of Nd3+:Sr3Gd(BO3)(3) crystal were measured at room temperature. The absorption cross sections sigma(a) are 3.43 x 10(-20) cm(2) at 807 nm for pi-polarization and 1.78 x 10(-20) cm(2) for sigma-polarization, respectively. The emission cross sections sigma(em) are 2.0 x 10(-19) cm(2) at 1063 nm for pi-polarization and 1.12 x 10(-19) cm(2) for sigma-polarization, respectively. Fluorescence lifetime t(f) is 70 mu s at room temperature. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
