摘要
The extension of compulsory secondary education in Latin America is exposing some of the contradictions that this process has already manifested in other geographical contexts. This article shows how the experience of Spain and, more specifically, Andalusia, can provide some keys to understanding certain factors involved in this process. In this sense, the discourse of the culture of Peace and the plans for coexistence have been used as a response to the crisis produced by the clash of cultures and classes in secondary schools. However, these initiatives were resignified and neutralised by the majority school and professional teaching culture, consolidating a discourse on the discipline that took an authoritarian drift.
