摘要:
Writing high quality advanced academic English is one of the important goals for Chinese students to achieve in their overseas study. This paper explores how Chinese students make progress in their advanced English writing in the process of their academic study under the instruction of their Australian supervisors. Bilingualism brings double opportunities as well as double difficulties to these Chinese students. To solve the conflict between their use of mother language - Chinese and academic language - English is a challenge for both Chinese students and their Australian supervisors.
