摘要：
The paper deals with perspective technologies of intelligent unmanned ground systems for the battlefield. The Army realized the potential of robotics on the battlefield long ago. Today, the Army has adapted commercial tele-operated ground vehicles for specialized military uses. The Army plans to use Unmanned Ground vehicles for weapons platforms, logistics carriers, for reconnaissance vehicles, surveillance vehicles, and target acquisition, to both increase combat effectiveness and to reduce the number of soldiers placed in battlefield. Unmanned Ground Vehicle systems are necessity for the future.
