摘要
The new bi-directional antenna is proposed in this article. The antenna consists of a strip monopole antenna that is surrounded by a rectangular ring. They are mounted on a circular ground plane. The explanation for deriving the antenna characteristics such as the radiation pattern, input impedance is given. The validity of the method is demonstrated by the experiment. There are in good agreement between the compared results.
